What to Bring: Whether you are coming to Obedience or Agility you need to bring with you your dogs favorite toy and some tasty treats (Cheese, liver, chicken, sausages and ham are good examples) Please do not bring a handful of their dinner, it needs to be yummy and not something they get everyday! Treats should be chopped into small pieces. (You can easily get 10 treats out of 1 cocktail sausage!)
What to expect:
Classes are designed to be fun for you and your dog. Some exercises will be done as a group, some will be done individually depending on what they are. Classes are progressive so we will not be expecting you to be able to run a full agility course or complete a 2 minute down stay on your first lesson!
Homework: Sometimes there will be exercises that you can practice with your dog at home. It is up to you if you decide to do this or not but you find your progress is much quicker if you do the exercises a couple of times a week in a few different locations. (It shouldn't take you more than 2-3 minutes each time you train)
Children: Children over 14 are welcome at classes however anyone under the age of 16 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult for the entire session. Our trainers are CRB checked and documentation can be provided.
Payments: Classes are to be paid for at the start of the month. Some months there will be 5 sessions some there will be 4. We will let you know the week before how much the next set of classes are. If you are unable to attend for a couple of weeks (i.e holiday) please send me a quick text or phone call just so that I know you are planning to come back. If we have not heard from you within a 2 week period (we will attempt to contact you also) your place will be offered to someone on the waiting list. Please note that missed weeks are charged for.
Note: In most cases when booking onto a new class you will be requested to pay a non refundable deposit to secure your space.
