Intro to Hoopers Course

Service Description

Hoopers is a low impact activity where dogs negotiate a flowing course of hoops, barrels and tunnels. Dogs of all ages and breeds are welcome making this a very inclusive sport. We do request that puppies are at least 5 months of age. Dogs will learn the basic equipment and basic handling skills needed to be able to attend a regular class. Regular classes will be available on a Thursday at 10.45am (ME16 9LX) and Friday 6.30pm (ME19 5HZ). These are the only spaces available, we have no plans for another day/time. If you feel your dog needs to be kept on a lead/longline - it must be attached to a harness - NOT a collar. Dogs must be happy to work around other dogs in a training environment. Reactive Dogs: We do not allow dogs with reactivity issues or aggression issues to attend group training classes. We encourage early training and socialisation to ensure dogs do not become reactive. If your dog is reactive to other dogs or humans, a group class with not resolve this, you need specialist training from a behaviorist. We will not put ourselves, other trainers, customers or their dogs at risk by allowing your dog into a class situation. If you are asked to leave a class you have been booked onto due to your dog being reactive - no refund will be given. Over excitement should not be confused for reactivity.
